Chinese mahjong set, 146 numbered blue tiles, brown case
$63.79
Price as the product page last showed it. It can move between visits, and the figure on the product page is the one that counts.
Four seats around a bare wooden table, and the walls go up by hand. We cut these tiles for traditional Chinese play, with blue backs and deep engravings that show both characters and Western numbers. The whole set packs down into a brown case built to travel.
- Cut for the Chinese game
- 146 tiles counted into the set
- Tile face 1.5 inches across
- Part of our mahjong sets
Engraved face and corner
Each face carries deep ink that stands up to constant shuffling. We cut clear numerals into the corners alongside the characters, so reading a hand across the table stays quick and simple.
Dense blue backs
The tiles are pressed with solid blue backs that stay smooth under the fingertips. The material resists scratching and gives each piece a good, heavy click when building the wall with a partner.
Chips and wind indicator
Inside the case you get the small necessities for the table. Colored counting chips, dice, and a wind indicator sit beside the tile trays, along with a booklet to clarify turns.
Brown carrying case
The brown suitcase holds the weight without sagging, keeping every tray seated firmly. A solid handle makes it easy to carry down the hall or out to a friend patio for the evening.
